My Empire was formed in 2008 by Luke Wright. Since it's inception My Empire has seen multiple line-up changes, but that hasn't slowed them down one bit. This is a group that is passionate about their art and pushes themselves to achieve their goals.
The band currently consists of Guitarist Luke Wright, Bass player Mike Chartier, and Drummer Joe Annello. The group draws their influences from a broad variety of styles and genres. Some of their influences come from bands like Tool, Guns N Roses, Coheed and Cambria, and Avenged Sevenfold.
My Empire has performed at venues all throughout New England and with National headliners like Halestorm, Seasons After, 2 Cents, and Nonpoint. Some of their regular venues are Toad's Place in New Haven and The Webster Theater in Hartford, CT. My Empire has also been featured on The Rock 106.9 WCCC's Homegrown show during the month of June, 2009.
All in all, My Empire is a band that wants to rock a crowd with energy while also having fun doing it. Doing whatever it takes to reach their goals, whether they be personal or band related, they have all devoted a great deal of their own time, energy, and money into something that not only do they believe in, but something that they know can reach out to a lot of different people. At the end of the day, this is a group who won't let anything stand in their way from accomplishing their dreams...
